Alongside my private practice, I set up and pioneered the MIND mental health charity's online counselling service which is now a successful and established service offered throughout the nation.
In my counselling, I employ a variety of approaches, integrating conventional talking therapies with powerful intuition and full-body listening. My style is warm, empathic, dynamic and collaborative.

I was brought up overseas and have lived and worked abroad in adulthood. My parents were both medical professionals and this influenced my desire to pursue a career in healthcare. With over 25 years of working in the healthcare sector, counselling is now my passion and vocation.

I live curiously, courageously and have learnt (the hard way) the importance of self-care and self-acceptance. I know what it is like to have poor mental and physical health and what it takes to be well and stay well. I walk our talk and have overcome difficult lived experiences, including trauma and mental health challenges. I live a very productive life and focus on priorities.

Though I have studied long and hard, I don’t hide behind textbooks and theory.

I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental sounding board to make sense of where you are in order to move forward with renewed understanding and confidence.

My clients are diverse and each are supported in a bespoke way to touch the heart of their issue.

I am committed to being the therapist I would like to have and strive to help your process and self-discovery and work with whatever you courageously bring.
